What’s wrong?!

June 16, 2009

I look out around me today, and I see a nation. A nation that is sick.
People will ALWAYS say they know what’s wrong with this country. Many of them are right. But it’s much deeper than any single explanation can possibly solve.
Our beautiful republic is much like a body. It can get sick, it does need a doctor with medicine, and it CAN die.
The most visual problem with the body one will notice, if they’re not absolutely Blind, is the skin. It’s discolored, as to show she’s sick. That is what most people will see and say, “MAN look at our country. It’s screwed up.”

The stomach is bloated.
All of the disgustingly meaningless spending and programs that fix nothing but the a tasty, feel-good junk food that mother (the one’s with the power of the purse) allows her daughter to consume at an unhealthy rate. That all creates nasty acids and gas. And what happens when the stomach begins feeling ill? Even MORE candy than before, fill the stomach to the max! And not be able to buy all the junk food by herself, with her inherited money. Nope, the mother borrows the money, and WAY too much of it then can ever be paid back from the enemies of young, Ms. America, they live across the sea. Waiting. Waiting to ruin any and all economic stability the girl has at that time.

America is drunk with the drink of pride and believed invincibility. She’s taken the security offered by a strong military and has turned that into an insurance policy. Because of all this drink, the liver is failing; releasing toxins throughout the body. This, in large part, is the reason for the skin’s discoloration, from what it used to be as a beautiful beacon of hope and opportunity.

Heart disease is firmly rooted.
This one is deadly, rarely recognized before killing the host, and growing on a daily basis.
The heart, or the values, this country once held dear are being killed at an alarming rate.
The ideals America’s always held dear are being raped and torn away by the powerful, unchallenged liberals such as the ACLU. The “One nation, Under God” can no longer have a cross sitting on public land, or the Ten commandments (a symbol of righteousness) can no longer sit in front of a courthouse. Prayer, to ANY entity (other than Mohammad, of course) is Strictly prohibited in a place of education. True science has been abandoned, in that a single, unproven theory is taught as absolute, unchallengeable fact in those same places of public education. Millions of unborn babies are killed EVERY day, but that’s okay. They can’t yet fend for themselves and ARE inside a mother. That mother deserves the choice to KILL that child in it’s most innocent of stages? It’s sick. It’s heartless.

The chambers around that heart (the arteries) are continually being clogged by the government not allowing the life blood of the economy (money and jobs) to flow naturally through the body as was initially intended by the free-market system. Rather than helping this flow along and overseeing the healthy flow thereof, the government is constricting this flow and deliberating it by whatever means THEY see fit.

She has a sexually transmitted disease.
That’s right. An STD has been contracted. Having gone to bed with socialism, it’s ideals have infected the thinking of many of our leaders and is preventing us from spreading the beacon of democracy throughout the earth, since after all, we can’t decide how much of our OWN Democratic-Republic we wan to keep. You say this is ridiculous?
HOW,in a million years, could it happen that in the most profound and successful democracy of earth’s history could the matter of whether or not unions can take the right of a secret ballot away from private citizens, EVER be up even for debate?! It’s a symptom of a democracy’s demise, it saddens me to say..

Finally, brain damage, as evidenced by severe memory-loss, is quite apparent.
Do you remember where you were that Tuesday morning. Remember? It wasn’t even eight years ago, two commercial jets, controlled by Muslim terrorists, declared war on this nation by crashing into a center of commerce, crushing the lives of more than 3,000 families.
Now, taking to fight to them is wrong? It doesn’t matter WHICH country we fight and kill them in, the fundamentalist Muslims will attack and kill us, the “Great Satan” any chance they get. This is a war we CAN win, we have bigger guns, we can and have taken the fight to their front door. And we’ve delivered justice.
But again, American’s have, in large part, forgotten why we fight and have lost the faith in our cause. For God’s sake, remember the feelings you had the day of September 12, 2001. Remember what must be done to protect this nation and forget about the joke you make yourself to be, by being politically correct.

The theme I will now bring up, and will continue to harp upon for as long as I have an opinion to give, is this:
Common seance, is no longer common-place. Until we can move back into a direction where common-seance holds dominance in the thinking of our nation, we’ll never see prosperity return to this great nation.

So what, now, is wrong with this nation?
It depends on which doctor is making the diagnosis.
The problems are so expansive, that no one prescription or trip to the doctor’s will fix it. There is no quick fix.
But if we, as a nation, allow America to go to have an extensive stay in the hospital, she can be healed.
It’s not a sure thing, we need to make the choice to fix things.
A single political party can’t ever be the answer, but it’s individuals, who believe in our Constitution and are led by the divinity of Providence, working together for the sake of this, or “Shining city on a hill.” Still the greatest nation on earth.

God Bless America.

Success

February 24, 2009

As each high school senior ends his career in secondary education, each one ventures to be successful in whatever way. Moving forward into the next season of my life, this matter has been pressing in my mind, what is true success? Is it merely the ability to support my family? Maybe something more, perhaps success is having considerable wealth to pass down to your family. Or just advancing the cause for what you believe in, finding what God’s will for my life really is. At the end of my life, as the world looks back on what I have done in this life, what will they see? If they see success, what would that need to compose of?

I have a dream, in my coming future and career; personally I want to, at the very least, be a part of something that changes this nation for the better. Is accomplishing this dream the absolute arrival to success? Maybe this is just my carnal nature and nationalism driving my focus. I believe there are more important things in the final outlook of my life than only my dreams. What then is the purpose of these desires in my heart?

In my life I also plan on raising a family. To do this successfully I must love them even as Christ loved the church, minister to them as the head of the house by being a Godly example, and providing for their needs and protection. Loving and serving my wife and raising Godly children are essential elements to me being a successful husband and father. Is that the essential element to attaining success; a healthy home that reflects the relationship between Christ and His church?

The last commandment Christ gave us before leaving this world was to “go into all the world and preach the gospel.” He gave us purpose, a mission. What then could be more important than His commission? For I know the debt I owe Christ is far more than I could ever pay back, He saved my soul eternally. But is that all I am to focus on; is everything other then the “Great Commission” that Christ gave us to be considered secondary; making the accomplishment of this sole duty the great achievement of success?

God has a plan for the lives of each being on this earth. Within each individual lies the aspiration and abilities to accomplish this Will. God’s Word tells us that He wants nothing but the best for us, as His children. He wants to bless us abundantly. If we submit our will to His, then, and only then, will we be able to accomplish the full potential for success in our lives.

Now at the beginning of this thought, when I posed the question about the world looking back on my life and seeing success, I committed a fatal flaw in logic that would dilute the entire conclusion. Christ warned us against being like the Pharisees in doing our life’s work and God’s mission only for the recognition of man. The only possible question to then pose is this:
What will need to be done in the duration of my lifetime, for in the end to have God look upon it as a success?
I believe God has put the dreams, desires, and talents that fulfill my very being inside of me to properly answer this question. I will pursue my dream, using my talents to advance the cause of righteousness. I will raise a family, giving them all the love attention and provision they need, leading them in a Godly manner, raising more disciples of God and loving my wife “as Christ loved the Church” giving myself for her. And finally, while doing all of these things to the best of my ability, living my life as a representative of Christ, sharing His gospel with my words as well as my actions. This is what I have found, in my limited experience and observation, the true pinnacle of success is at the end of my life; and after it all God, seeing a successful life behind, looks me, his humble servant, in the eyes and says, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
